I'd have to agree with IllWill on this one. I think every sub-culture's got that inside thing no one outside of the sub-culture would understand. However, Perry's writing and creations can be broad enough to encompass more than just black culture. Some of those situations, probably most of them, are pretty easy to relate to regardless. He's not quite my taste, but his more or less universal writing is what a decent comedy should be.
